   एक वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण ‌दगड "मनकांहळ्ळी,कर्नाटक येथे आहे".

मनकहळ्ळी (Manakahalli) गावाबद्दल एक रंजक तथ्य – पावसाचे पाणी विभागणी (Rainwater Sharing Fact) 

        ज्याला "niru kallu म्हणजे निरू कल्लू" म्हणजेच पाण्याचा दगड असेही म्हणतात.

     या दगडाच्या "उजव्या बाजूला पडलेले पावसाचे पाणी कावेरी नदीतून पूर्व दिशेला वाहत जाऊन बंगाल च्या उपसागरात जाते" तर "डाव्या बाजूला पडलेले पावसाचे पाणी नेत्रावती नदीतून पश्चिमेला अरबी समुद्रात जाते."

निसर्गाची ही अजब किमया वर्षांनुवर्षे अविरतपणे सुरू आहे.

   Mankanahalli, a village near Bisle Ghat in Karnataka, is known for a unique ridge point where rainwater divides, with one side flowing towards the Arabian Sea and the other towards the Bay of Bengal.

The ridge acts as a watershed, separating the drainage basins of the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. 

     Water Division:

The stone indicates the point where rainwater divides and flows towards either the Arabian Sea or the Bay of Bengal. 

East and West Flow:

Rainwater flowing to the west eventually joins the Netravati and Sharavati rivers before reaching the Arabian Sea. Water flowing eastwards joins the Hemavathy and Kaveri river systems and eventually flows into the Bay of Bengal.
